Although “It was a ‘just checking in’ message,” it turns out this gesture did not sit well with the 52-year-old Affleck.
J.Lo and A-Rod dated for a couple of years before getting engaged in 2019 while on vacation in the Bahamas. However, two years later, the singer broke off the engagement with the TV personality in 2021. They announced their split in a joint statement to TODAY, saying that they are “better as friends and look forward to remaining so.”
