Prince Harry’s Reaction to ‘Family Guy’ Diss Was ‘Tense,’ Says ‘Source’

Prince Harry appears to have grown tired of the constant digs — most recently in a “Family Guy” episode — aimed at him and Meghan Markle. The long-running sitcom recently aired a segment when characters Brian Griffin and Stewie Griffin began listing significant historical fails, making a sly remark at the Sussexes by including the couple’s marriage. Sources recently claimed that Harry didn’t take the dig lightly and had quite a “tense” reaction to it.

Prince Harry got in touch with Seth MacFarlane’s team after ‘Family Guy’ episode aired, says ‘source’

Rob Shuter exclusively learned that Prince Harry didn’t find the recent “Family Guy” joke about his and Meghan Markle’s marriage funny. He reportedly even got in touch with creator Seth MacFarlane’s team after the episode aired on Thursday. A source claimed that Harry “has zero sense of humor” and is over being the laughingstock. Moreover, he seemingly “directly” contacted MacFarlane after the show made its snide remark about his relationship.

The sitcom reportedly took a swipe at the Sussexes in Season 23 Episode 18, titled “Twain’s World.” In one segment, characters Brian and Stewie Griffin compared the couple’s marriage to historical disasters like Hitler and the Crusades. The next scene shifted to one of the show’s signature cutaways, showing Harry complaining about the diss, “Again?” The character then said, “Oh, like all of your wives are so much better?”

Prince Harry reportedly “didn’t find it funny” at all and “contacted” the “Family Guy” team “directly.” The source described his reaction as “tense.” A show insider further revealed that the Duke of Sussex “takes himself very seriously,” which seemingly “makes it funnier.” The show’s snide remark came amid Harry’s reported attempts to make amends with his estranged family, including King Charles, who is presently undergoing treatment for cancer.
