Brad Pitt Won’t Let Go of Winery That Easily, Says ‘Source’

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have finalized their divorce, but their legal battle over the winery continues. The former couple has been embroiled in a bitter public feud since their split in 2016. The former couple finally reached a divorce settlement in December 2024, concluding an eight-year legal battle. However, they are still tied in a lawsuit due to their winery. According to recent claims, Pitt is willing to drag this case just to “spite” Jolie.

Brad Pitt is not giving up on winery, says ‘source’

A new report has suggested Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who finalized their divorce late last year, are gearing up to head to court over their bitter winery battle. The 61-year-old hit his ex-wife with a lawsuit in 2022, after she sold her shares in their formerly joint-owned Chateau Miraval vineyard. Pitt alleged that Jolie breached their agreement.

The former couple had agreed not to sell their respective stakes in the vineyard, which they bought together in 2008, without each other’s consent. According to Pitt’s claims, they had plans of passing it down to their children. On the other hand, Jolie hit back at the accusations of wrongdoing, claiming that she was free to sell her stake.

RadarOnline has now exclusively learned from an insider that he “isn’t going to be backing down anytime soon.” They claimed that the “complex” nature of the case, with involvement of foreign parties, does not scare Pitt. A source alleged that he is “willing to drag out the lawsuit” over the vineyard “as long as possible if needed.” They added, “He is not giving up and will do it to spite Angie.”

US Weekly also revealed details from Pitt and Jolie’s showdown over their winery. The exclusive report stated that the two-time Academy Award winner believes a jury trial is imminent. In addition to that, he expects the courtroom proceedings to last for about 15 days. Meanwhile, the trial date has not been set as of yet.

The RadarOnline source also stated that if Pitt and Jolie do go to court, it could become “one of the biggest Hollywood legal showdowns in history.”
