As per Rob Shuter, a source close to the former journalist confirmed that Longoria could not attend the festivities. The individual claimed that the “Desperate Housewives” star “could’ve made it work.” However, Longoria was reportedly in Europe. Adding that “it stung,” the insider noted, “She is the boss and did no [sic] have to film on that day.”
Sources further mentioned how Lauren Sanchez has always been there for Longoria as a close friend and has celebrated her achievements. They said that in the past, Bezos’ wife “showed up for Eva’s milestones.” However, the individual emphasized that the Venetian wedding “was Lauren’s [milestone]. And she noticed who didn’t show up.”
