Rapper and songwriter Ice Spice has spilt some beans on her friends Taylor Swift and her beau Travis Kelce during an interview at the 2025 Kids’ Choice Awards. The pop star shared that the couple are some of her “funniest friends” and that’s what makes them great. The answer left the host amused since no one ever shared the “scoop” about the couple. The singer is part of Swift’s inner circle and has known the pop star since 2023.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are ‘funny,’ says Ice Spice
Ice Spice recently spilt some beans about Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, at an award show. The singer was at the 2025 Kids’ Choice Awards when ET’s Cassie DiLaura asked the rapper to share one “surprising fact” about the most talked-about couples. In reply, Spice said that Swift and Kelce are more of a comedian couple rather than a regal couple, as assumed by many.
“They’re really, really funny. They’re probably some of my funniest friends,” Spice told DiLaura, further adding, “They’re funny, you guys. That’s the scoop. They’re like us.” It is safe to say that the Bronx rapper, 25, knows a thing or two about the couple as she has been part of their inner circle for a long time.
Their friendship dates back to 2023 when both singers collaborated on the “Karma” remix. Moreover, Spice and Swift have often been spotted together at various events and games. This includes the 2024 and 2025 Super Bowl, to support Kelce and his team, the Kansas City Chiefs.
Spice and Swift have even co-starred in a surprise “Saturday Night Live” sketch alongside Kelce. And last year, the pop star and her NFL boyfriend showed their support for Spice at Coachella 2024.
This is not the first time Spice talked about her friend Swift. According to People, in a cover story interview with Rolling Stone in July 2024, Spice stated that she and Swift’s “personalities mesh really well,” hinting at why they remain best friends to date.
