Johnny Depp Wanted to Fight Until ‘Bitter F—— End’ In Amber Heard Trial

Johnny Depp recently opened up about his very public courtroom trial involving his ex-wife, Amber Heard. The “Alice in Wonderland” actor recently sat for an exclusive interview with The Times. During his conversation with the interviewer, Depp revealed what “hurt” him during that time. The high-profile Hollywood star explained, “There are people, and I’m thinking of three, who did me dirty.” He continued, “I understand people who could not stand up [for me], because the most frightening thing to them was making the right choice.”

Johnny Depp further said, “I was pre-MeToo.” The actor expressed, “I was like a crash test dummy for MeToo. It was before Harvey Weinstein.” “And I sponged it, took it all in,” he added. In the interview, the actor also disclosed that he wished to see his legal fight against Heard to the very “bitter” end.

Johnny Depp recently went candid about his trial in the massively public legal case against his ex-wife, Amber Heard, in a new and rare interview with The Times. The actor explained, “Look, it had gone far enough.” He continued, “I knew I’d have to semi-eviscerate myself.” He added, “Everyone was saying, ‘It’ll go away!’ But I can’t trust that.”

Johnny Depp further questioned, “What will go away?” The actor then explained, “The fiction pawned around the f—ing globe? No it won’t.” He said, “If I don’t try to represent the truth it will be like I’ve actually committed the acts I am accused of.”

Depp continued, “And my kids will have to live with it. Their kids. Kids that I’ve met in hospitals.” The actor added, “So the night before the trial in Virginia I didn’t feel nervous.” He expressed, “If you don’t have to memorise lines, if you’re just speaking the truth? Roll the dice.”

Johnny Depp also revealed that he didn’t think that the legal process was “going be easy.” However, the actor didn’t have much “care” for it. He explained, “I thought, ‘I’ll fight until the bitter f—ing end.'” The “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” actor then questioned, “And if I end up pumping gas?” “That’s all right. I’ve done that before,” he added.
