The star gave away a few parenting secrets during her appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” When the host asked Biel if her kids knew how “cool” their parents were, the actor had an interesting response.
Speaking to Jimmy Fallon, Jessica Biel revealed that her sons think their dad, Justin Timberlake, is “cool” because of his music and persona. However, the “7th Heaven” star confessed she was “so lame” to her kids. To prove her statement, Biel revealed that her four-year-old son Phineas has a new phrase for her, which goes like, “Mom, you have the worst ideas.”
Phineas’s comments left Jessica Biel and the audience gasping in shock. The actor then recalled wondering, “I’m like, are we, we’re already there? We are there.” However, it was not just the four-year-old who was critical of his mother. Biel’s elder son, Silas, also expressed his opinion on his mother cheering on him at his baseball games. The star shared how the 10-year-old would ask her not to “engage” and “back up off the field.”
Although Jessica Biel got the “lame” tag in parenting many times, she also confessed to getting “cool mom points” from her sons because she starred opposite John Cena in the film “Matchbox.” Biel revealed that her kids love the “lovable” WWE star. So much so, that Phineas referred to his mom as “John Cena’s friend” for a Mother’s Day project in school.
Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake have been married since 2012. They welcomed their first child Silas in 2015 and their second son Phineas in 2020.
