In a new interview with Us Weekly, Romo explained, “People won’t even realize this.” He continued, “But he’s probably doing less than he used to when he was younger.” The sports analyst said, “If you get your picture taken going to dinner with your superstar girlfriend, it looks like you’re going out or something.” He added, “No, he just went to dinner.”
Tony Romo further expressed, “Almost as if he’s married, going to dinner with his wife or something.” The former professional football player then said, “He didn’t get photographed when he was going out with his buddies all the time.” He continued, “He’s far less out there.”
Romo explained, “He’s doing far less things than when he was younger.” He also added, “It’s just the fact that if you’re written about a lot and it’s not about football.” The former footballer then emphasized, “Some people are always going to think that it plays a role.” He then said, “But the truth is that it can be a net positive if you look at it closely.”
