The controversial angle of the sketch involved a bare-chested figure wearing a cone-shaped hood that shielded the face. He posted the image with the caption “MET BALL 2025,” according to a recent report.
Netizens and critics quickly responded to the post, drawing comparisons to a controversial KKK (Ku Klux Klan) inspired outfit West wore during his interview with DJ Akademiks. The incident sparked negative reactions and led to speculation that the rapper would not be allowed at future events.
Recently, a Radar Online report claimed that Wintour was taking the matter seriously. A Met Gala insider informed the tabloid, “Anna is not messing around. There’s a full protocol in place if Kanye is spotted anywhere near the carpet.” The source elaborated, “It’s not just about the outfit – it’s about the chaos he brings,” adding, “After what happened at the Grammys, no one’s taking chances.” An insider further reported Wintour’s intentions, stating, “Anna has made it clear – no drama on her carpet.”
Besides West’s highly controversial appearances, his ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s confirmed attendance at the Met Gala 2025 added tension.
