After her name appeared thanks to the actor’s text messages to the director, the pop star was dragged into the ongoing legal drama. In the messages, Lively mentioned that she has “a few dragons.” One of them include her husband, Ryan Reynolds, as well as her bestie.
Baldoni made the content of the text messages public, using them for his countersuit. He claimed his co-star used the singer’s name to “pressure” him. Supposedly, Lively used this method to get him to allow her to make some tweaks to the script. The lawsuit also involved Swift’s music. The actor allegedly threatened Baldoni that she would not reach out to her friend for the rights to use her song for the trailer.
The insider told the outlet that the court could summon Swift via a subpoena in the days to come. They said that Hugh Jackman is in a similar situation as well. The source claimed that both of them will “definitely be served this week,” adding, “It could happen at any time.” The pop artist has reportedly been waiting for the subpoena, keeping her distance from her pal in the meantime.
