President Donald Trump has jumped into the feud between conservative commentator Mark Levin and ex-Fox News host Megyn Kelly. He offered support for Levin after Kelly directed a “micropenis” insult at him over foreign policy disagreements.
Donald Trump comes to Mark Levin’s support
Trump took to Truth Social on March 15 to praise Mark Levin while taking subtle but sharp jabs at Megyn Kelly. The president highlighted Levin’s intellectual credentials and commitment to conservative principles. Additionally, pushing back against what he described as unfair attacks from lesser figures.
“Mark Levin, a truly Great American Patriot, is somewhat under siege by other people with far less Intellect, Capability, and Love for our Country,” Trump wrote. He went on to note that Levin’s nickname, “THE GREAT ONE,” was coined by Sean Hannity. This was based on years of working with him in legal and media capacities.
According to Trump, Levin “is a true Conservative, and Intellect, far smarter than those who criticize him, but, above all, he is a man of Great Wisdom and Common Sense who truly loves our Country.” Although Trump did not mention Kelly by name, his message contained clear references to the former Fox News host. “When you hear others unfairly attack Mark, remember that they are jealous and angry Human Beings, whose ‘sway’ is much less than the Public understands. And will, now that they know where I stand, rapidly diminish,” the president stated.
The sparring began when Levin criticized Kelly for not supporting Trump’s stance on Iran. Kelly responded March 14: “I’m sorry you have a micro penis, but don’t drag the rest of us into your drama.” Levin fired back, describing Kelly as “an emotionally unhinged, lewd, and petulant wreck” who has “completely revealed and destroyed herself.” He added that she offers “never an intelligent, thoughtful, or substantive comment” and called her “utterly toxic.”
Then on March 16, Kelly escalated further, suggesting Levin had solicited Trump’s defense. “Micro penis @marklevinshow is such a SMALL MAN he had to go beg the president for a pat on the head (in the middle of a war!) to make himself feel better about … well, you know,” she tweeted.
