Billy Joel is currently dealing with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus, a neurological condition that can impact balance, vision, and hearing. According to Alexa Ray, he is now focused on recovery and doing what he can to get back on his feet.
Speaking in a recent interview, Alexa Ray said her father is actively focusing on his recovery. “He’s doing physical therapy regularly, and he’s doing great. He’s lost weight as he’s on his diet,” she explained. She also praised his determination, adding, “He’s such a trooper, so resilient and committed to being healthy and proactive. He’s a fighter. Fans will soon see a tribute to Billy Joel at the concert “The Music of Billy Joel.” Promoter Michael Dorf is organizing the show at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
