Six Flags, an American amusement park corporation, announced Travis Kelce as its brand ambassador on Thursday, March 12. The football tight end expressed his excitement about the new role in a press release, sharing how many of his childhood memories were made at the park.
Kelce’s taking on the new role also comes amid his recent consideration of whether to continue his NFL career or retire. However, he has decided to return for another season with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Kelce is now the brand ambassador of Six Flags, an announcement that comes after his positive news of returning to the Chiefs for yet another season. In a press release, he reflected on his cherished memories at the park while expressing enthusiasm for the new role. “Six Flags parks were a hallmark of my childhood and the scene of some of my most fun and cherished memories, and I’m excited to team up with the company as it enters its next chapter.”
Kelce revealed that Six Flags is dedicated to introducing more rides and attractions and to stepping up its guest engagement. “I look forward to helping them continue to build excitement for their unrivaled portfolio of parks and introduce a new generation of fans to unforgettable experiences.”
During his latest appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, the 36-year-old confirmed that he isn’t retiring and will return to play another season with the Chiefs. He mentioned that he’s still in love with the game and is excited to go back to work.
“I still love going to work, putting on the pads, grinding it out, and just playing the game, you know, and I think my best opportunity was playing for the Chiefs yet again and running this thing back with Pat Mahomes and Coach Reid. And got my guy Eric Bieniemy, Coach Bieniemy back, and there’s a lot of pieces in Kansas City that I just I absolutely love and I can’t wait to get back in the building with,” he elaborated. Moreover, Kelce credited his fiancée, Taylor Swift, for motivating him to return to the sport.
