Sydney Sweeney Credits Euphoria for Making Her Feel ‘Confident’ About Her Breasts

Sydney Sweeney revealed that her hit show Euphoria made her feel “confident” about her breasts. The 28-year-old actress is known for her incredible physique just as much as for her acting roles. Sweeney recently launched her lingerie and intimate-wear brand, SYRN, and shared how her personal experiences and her relationship with her body inspired the brand.

Sydney Sweeney talks about her breasts and Euphoria

Sydney Sweeney credits her hit TV show Euphoria for making her feel “confident” about her breasts. The actor-turned-entrepreneur revealed to Us Weekly, “I grew up with boobs. I was wearing a 32DD in sixth grade, and I never felt confident. I never had anything I felt good in, and I just wanted to hide. It wasn’t until [I played] Cassie in Euphoria that I started realizing it’s actually powerful to be confident; our bodies are incredible. We should embrace [them] and feel really good in our skin.”

While her role in Euphoria eased her into loving her body, it wasn’t always a smooth process. The Housemaid star explained how her figure hasn’t always been easy for her. Sweeney explained, “I’d always be like, ‘Oh, this fit doesn’t work. I don’t have the support I want. The straps are digging into my shoulders or it’s kind of itchy and riding up.’ I started a whole Pinterest board of thousands of photos of inspiration, and I [thought], ‘I should actually do this.’ And we put it together.”

The actress explained how her relationship with her body birthed the idea of SYRN. Sweeney is committed to introducing size-inclusive intimate wear, with her brand featuring looks such as lace-covered bras in up to 44 sizes. She elucidated, “That’s kind of why I wanted to build all these different worlds. So [fans] could honestly choose what they wanted to be [at] the start of the day or the end of the day.”

On the work front, Sweeney is gearing up for the release of the third season of Euphoria. However, the actress was absent from the Euphoria group video amid rumors of a feud with Zendaya. On March 11, the official Instagram of the hit teen TV show shared a brief video featuring Zendaya, Maude Apatow, Hunter Schafer, and Alexa Demie smiling and posing together, sans Sweeney.
