La Roux Reportedly Called Kanye West’s Alleged Sexual Assault on Model ‘Horrific’

Singer La Roux has reportedly backed model Jennifer An‘s sexual assault allegations against rapper Kanye West, who now goes by Ye. The singer allegedly found the alleged sexual assault of the model to be “horrific.” Back in 2024, An reportedly filed a suit against West. Therein, she allegedly claimed that the rapper “sexually assaulted and strangled” her on the music video set of Roux’s song “In For The Kill.”

Model’s ‘horrific’ sexual assault allegations against Kanye West backed by La Roux — report

La Roux (real name Elly Jackson) reportedly recalled the alleged sexual assault of Jennifer An by Kanye West to be “horrific,” and allegedly supported the model’s allegations. As reported by PEOPLE magazine, in a new filing on March 10, in the sexual assault case, An included a DM exchange on Instagram, which appears to be between her and Roux. They also reported receiving the messages.

Per PEOPLE, in this particular Instagram DM exchange, Elly Jackson shared her own memories of her experience with Kanye West in the aftermath of the incident, after backing the model’s allegations against the rapper. According to the publication, the singer said to the model, “I could never forget that, it was horrific. How can I help?” in the messages.

In the meantime, PEOPLE reported that La Roux then expressed, “I have never seen the footage (thankfully).” The singer continued, “And obviously I asked for it to never be used or for it to be seen.” She then explained, “As you were understandably very concerned about anyone or your family seeing it.”

Roux also said, “I have no problem being honest about what I saw.” The artist reportedly added, “So if you need my account of the event I’m more [than] happy to do that.”
