Jason Kelce had an amusing reaction to Conan O’Brien’s outrageous offer in the latest episode of his New Heights podcast. The Now You See Me actor had jokingly volunteered to scream at his kids to help with discipline.
The suggestion came after Conan O’Brien interrupted the conversation, noting kids in the background. He seemed confused until the NFL alum explained that his kids were playing downstairs. Upon learning that, the 62-year-old made a playful jab, offering to step in and dish out some discipline.
“If you want, Jason, I will totally scream at them for you,” prompting Travis Kelce to burst into laughter.
Jason Kelce was taken aback by the offer, turning to glance offscreen for his wife’s input. “Ky, which one’s making noise?” he asked, chuckling, “Conan wants to scream at them real quick.”
However, Kylie Kelce swiftly shut down the idea, and the 38-year-old relayed her decision, saying he was getting a no from his wife, prompting O’Brien to respond with a playful, “That’s okay.”
“I respect her for that ‘no.’ You know what? It’s for the best because your children would be scarred for life. They’d say, ‘Why did that orange-haired woman yell at us?’ And, ‘That lady was so mean’,” the Vanilla Sky actor added.
The playful exchange happened just a week after Jason Kelce’s daughter, Ellie’s, adorable podcast interruption, when she crashed her dad’s recording with uncle Travis Kelce and NFL legend Randy Moss.
