Rihanna’s Home Shooting Suspect Acted ‘Willfully & Deliberately’ — Report

The shooting at the Beverly Hills home of Rihanna was reportedly “deliberate, and premeditated.” The incident took place on Sunday, March 8. At that time, the singer-businesswoman, her partner, A$AP Rocky, their three kids, Riot, RZA, and Rocki, and her mother, Monica Braithwaite, were allegedly present in the house.

As per the update, on Tuesday, March 10, authorities reportedly charged a 35-year-old woman from Florida, Ivanna Ortiz, in association with the Fenty Beauty creator’s home shooting incident.

Ivanna Ortiz, the suspect in Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home shooting on March 8, reportedly made an “attempt to murder” the 38-year-old. As reported by PEOPLE magazine, on Tuesday, March 10, they obtained the criminal complaint in this case. According to the complaint, the home shooting was “willful, deliberate, and premeditated.”

In the meantime, they further reported that per the criminal complaint, prosecutors have alleged that suspect Ivanna Ortiz came to Rihanna’s Beverly Hills mansion in an “attempt to murder” Robyn Fenty, which is the given name of the celebrity.

Furthermore, on top of the charge of attempted murder, the suspect has also been charged with a total of 10 counts of assault using a semi-automatic firearm, per the complaint. Other charges reportedly include “three counts of shooting at an inhabited dwelling or camper.”

Meanwhile, after the shooting incident at Rihanna‘s home, a source told PEOPLE that it was “terrifying” for the Grammy Award winner. However, the person added, “thankfully, everyone is safe.”

According to the news outlet, at a news conference, Nathan J. Hochman, the Los Angeles County District Attorney, said, “In that residence, Rihanna was there with her partner, her three children, her mother, and two staff people.” The Los Angeles County District Attorney, “Representing eight of the 10 counts of dealing with an assault with a semi-automatic firearm.”
