President Donald Trump recently discussed topics surrounding the surging oil prices amid the ongoing Iran war. He shared that he has “a plan for everything.” While Trump did provide a hopeful update, he didn’t reveal what his plan actually is to tackle the issue.

In a recent phone interview with The New York Post, Trump addressed the concerns surrounding the rise in oil prices. He said on the phone call, “I have a plan for everything, okay? I have a plan for everything. You’ll be very happy.” The outlet stated that the president shared no details on what he intends to do to tackle the oil prices.
It’s not the first time Trump has addressed the concerns around oil prices. A few days back, in his Truth Social post, he shared a few words on this same topic. He mentioned that the oil prices will eventually drop “when the destruction of the Iran nuclear threat is over.”
He wrote, “Short term oil prices, which will drop rapidly when the destruction of the Iran nuclear threat is over, is a very small price to pay for U.S.A., and World, Safety and Peace. ONLY FOOLS WOULD THINK DIFFERENTLY!President DJT.”
Since the commencement of the war between Israel and the US against Iran, the oil prices have seen a significant increase not just in the US but across many countries. According to Al Jazeera, crude oil, which was worth $67 per barrel before the war, saw a massive increase during the war. It was nearly around $97 in the US. Soon, it also crossed the $100 per barrel mark before seeing a slight decrease.
