Popular NBC Sitcom Is Coming to Netflix in Less Than a Month

NBC’s St. Denis Medical, which has built a steady fan base since its debut, is set to expand its reach through a major streaming release. The sitcom, centered on the hectic environment of a struggling hospital and the staff working within it, is set to join Netflix’s catalog next month.

St. Denis Medical begins streaming on Netflix in April

NBC’s comedy series St. Denis Medical is set to expand its audience with a new streaming home. According to What’s on Netflix, the mockumentary-style hospital sitcom will become available on Netflix in the United States starting April 1, 2026. The addition will allow viewers to stream all 18 episodes from the first season, introducing the show to a wider audience through the platform.

The streaming debut comes while the series continues its run on network television. Season 2 premiered on NBC on November 3, 2025, and new episodes are still being released, with the season finale scheduled to air on April 6, 2026. The series has already secured its future, as NBC renewed the show for a third season in February 2026.

Set in an underfunded Oregon hospital, the comedy series tracks the chaotic routine inside St. Denis Medical Center, where a small and overworked staff tries to keep operations running. Newly promoted emergency department supervisor Alex Mazurkian leads a team that includes ambitious administrator Joyce Henderson and several eccentric colleagues. As patients continue to pour in, the staff must juggle limited resources, workplace tensions, and the everyday unpredictability of hospital life.

The series’ ensemble cast features Allison Tolman as Alex Mazurkian, Wendi McLendon-Covey as Joyce Henderson, Josh Lawson as Dr. Bruce Schweitz, and Kahyun Kim as Serena Jung. Since its debut, the sitcom has earned generally positive responses from critics and viewers alike. On Rotten Tomatoes, St. Denis Medical currently holds an 81 percent Tomatometer score. Meanwhile, viewers have given it a 77 percent rating on the Popcornmeter.
