Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes enthrall fans by making a sweet appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Gosling and Mendes met during the filming of their 2011 film, The Place Beyond the Pines, and have been together for 15 years now. The couple shares two daughters. Notably, Gosling is currently promoting his upcoming film, Project Hail Mary, which will be released on March 20.

Ryan Gosling and his partner Eva Mendes make a rare public appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show. The intensely private couple tries their best to stay out of the limelight and avoid getting photographed. However, it seems like the La La Land star was keen on celebrating Mendes’ 52nd birthday on the talk show.
Gosling asked the in-house audience, “Would you sing Happy Birthday to her?” as the crowd roared with a resounding “Yes.” A staff member knocked on Gosling’s makeup room door with a smile and escorted Mendes to the studio. Fans clapped and cheered loudly as the Hitch star walked through the studio corridors to reach the set.
The Fall Guy star walked down a few steps and reached for his partner’s hand as they soaked in the audience’s applause. Gosling stepped aside and pointed, “Eva Mendes,” letting the former actress revel in all the love and attention. Visibly touched, Mendes couldn’t stop thanking the in-house audience.
Fallon announced, “This is your birthday, and we have something special.” A marching band entered the set and performed “Happy Birthday” for Mendes. They even held up a super-sized banner with “Happy Birthday Eva!” printed on it. The 52-year-old reached out to give Gosling a loving kiss as Fallon announced that the in-house audience was invited to an exclusive screening of Project Hail Mary.
