Netflix is set to bring back a romantic comedy show with a new installment arriving soon. The show, which currently holds an 82% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes, continues the story of Kitty Song-Covey as she navigates last year at KISS.
XO, Kitty Season 3 to stream on Netflix next month
Netflix has announced that the third season of XO, Kitty will arrive on the platform on April 2, 2026. The streaming service confirmed the release date by unveiling a set of new photos. These provide the first look at the upcoming chapter of the romantic comedy series. Sharing the update on X, Netflix wrote, “Don’t freak out, but… XO, KITTY RETURNS APRIL 2.”
According to the official synopsis, the new season follows Kitty as she returns to KISS for her final year with a clear plan for how she hopes things will unfold. Determined to make the most of her final year, Kitty sets out to focus on her friendships, reconnect with family members in Korea, and think seriously about the direction of her future. At the same time, she hopes to gain clarity about her and Min Ho. However, her plans do not unfold as smoothly as expected.
The series first premiered on May 18, 2023, and serves as a spin-off of the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before film series. On Rotten Tomatoes, the show currently holds a critics’ score of 82 percent and an audience score of 63 percent. Shannon Connellan of Mashable wrote, “XO, Kitty leans into its protagonist’s imperfections and impulsive decisions — and Cathcart does an excellent job keeping Kitty true to her insatiable desire to be liked, accepted, and included. It’s relatable stuff.”
The series features Anna Cathcart in the lead role as Katherine “Kitty” Song-Covey. The cast also includes Gia Kim as Yuri Han, Sang Heon Lee as Min-ho Moon, and Choi Min-yeong as Dae-heon Kim, among others.
