Sonja Norwood shared a video on her social media account, asserting that her son’s health concerns were not a “hoax” and, as of now, the rapper was in a dangerous territory. Ray J has also been involved in a legal battle with ex-partner Kim Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner, in the meantime.
Ray J’s mother steps in to talk about his health
Amidst growing concerns about his health among his fans, Ray J’s mother has stepped forward to confirm that the rapper is indeed suffering from a severe health problem. Ray J was recently hospitalized for pneumonia and heart pain. In January, the rapper revealed that his heart was allegedly functioning at only 25 percent, and with his existing issues, survival was a difficult prospect.
While the rapper suffered from these severe issues, there were still some who did not believe the narrative. His mother, Sonja Norwood, took to her social media platform to address this and revealed that Ray J’s problems were not a “hoax.”
“It’s just really gotten out of hand when someone thinks that my son is faking his health, or it’s a hoax, or he’s just playing around, [and] he’s not really serious about it,” Norwood said in the video. “All of you who have been genuinely concerned about him and genuinely prayed for him, I want to say I thank you very much for that, because it takes multiple prayers and thoughts for things to change.”
She called the illness “life-threatening.” Norwood concluded the message by reiterating that Ray J’s health concerns were very real and that he was “trying to adjust to a condition that he has.”
Ray J has, meanwhile, also been involved in a legal battle with Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner.
