Donald Trump calls US ‘hottest’ country on Earth
US President Donald Trump recently addressed the members of Congress in his State of the Union speech and described the US as the hottest country in the world.
In the speech, President Trump declared that the country was in crisis and “dead” before he came back for his second term. He added, “Members of Congress and my fellow Americans, our nation is back, bigger, better, richer, and stronger than ever before. One year ago, we were a dead country; now we are the hottest country anywhere in the world.” (via BBC)
This is not the first time President Trump has referred to the US as the “hottest country” on Earth. Previously, he took to the Truth Social platform to celebrate 6 months of his second term as President and stated, “Today is that Sixth Month Anniversary of my Second Term. Importantly, it’s being hailed as one of the most consequential periods of any President. In other words, we got a lot of good and great things done.”
Donald Trump further wrote, “Six months is not a long time to have totally revived a major Country. “One year ago our Country was DEAD, with almost no hope of revival. Today the USA is the “hottest” and most respected Country anywhere in the World.” Happy Anniversary!!!”
Moreover, the US President also urged voters to support Republicans in the midterm elections, which will take place in November, to maintain a strong economy. Trump’s State of the Union address was also marked by an appearance from the US men’s hockey team. The team received an invitation from Trump after they bagged a gold medal in the 2026 Winter Olympics.
