When the clip hit social media, many users pointed out First Lady Melania Trump’s reaction while the US President danced alone to the music. To mark the occasion, the White House also posted a photo of the couple on Instagram.
Donald Trump’s dancing video goes viral
US President Donald Trump appears to be dancing in a recent clip that was filmed at Mar-a-Lago on Valentine’s Day.
Trump and First Lady Melania attended a dinner that was held at Mar-a-Lago, where Trump started to dance as the band on-stage played “God Bless the USA” by Lee Greenwood. While the president can be seen grooving to the song, Melania Trump can be seen moving back a little and getting back in her seat, leaving Trump alone to dance.
A user on X (formerly Twitter) with the handle @johnnymaga shared the video and wrote, “President Trump starts dancing to ‘God Bless the USA’ at a Mar-a-Lago Valentine’s Day dinner like it’s a campaign rally, causing Melania and guests to laugh. There will never be another like him.”
As Trump does his solo dance, onlookers can be heard laughing and cheering.
Many other users commented on the clip, with one noting, “Lmao and she (Melania) not laughing with him. She already told him to stop dancing. She doesn’t like it.” Another user went on to comment, “What a screwball we have for a president…..shameful!” A third user commented, “I certainly hope there’ll never be another like him. Let’s hope and pray that we survive this one.”
Recently, Trump was asked about what he gave Melania for Valentine’s Day as he was aboard Air Force One. In his reply, Trump said, “Better not tell you that. Goodbye, everybody. That’s the toughest question,” (via The Independent).
