According to an invitation circulating online, the event will be held in Los Angeles. Guests will be required to pay a set amount to attend the dinner and reception. The fundraiser comes amid Kimmel’s continued public criticism of the Trump administration.

Kimmel is reportedly hosting an expensive fundraiser campaign for the House of Democrats in Los Angeles on March 10, 2026. According to the invitation, it will start at 6:30 p.m. PT, with the official address to be announced ahead of the event.
The fundraiser will be attended by Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi and House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries. Guests are required to pay $25000 for general entry, $310,000 for the Jeffries 300 level, and $44,300 for the Leader’s Circle level. The Event Chair is priced at $100,000.
Earlier, Kimmel was temporarily suspended from ABC for his controversial remarks on the shooting of Charlie Kirk during a monologue. This happened after the network faced pressure from Brendan Carr, chair of the broadcast regulator FCC. Carr threatened to take action against the company. At the time, several democratic leaders voiced their concerns about free speech and asked media companies to stand up to the Trump administration. After a brief suspension, Kimmel was eventually back on air.
Kimmel has been a vocal critic of Trump’s administration. He recently called out the president for his involvement in the Epstein Files. He called it “Trump-Epstein Files,” as he referred to Rep. Jamie Raskin’s comment, who claimed that Trump’s name is mentioned more than a million times in the Epstein Files.
He added, “We’re getting that trademarked. But you can spread it around. Feel free. If that’s the way to keep him happy, why, I have another suggestion for something we could name after him, and it’s big and I think he’ll like it because it’s something everyone’s talking about. Something that he actually, unlike most everything else he wants named after him, deserves to be a part of,” (via Huff Post).
