Amid the growing speculations regarding Lewis Hamilton‘s supposed romance with Kim Kardashian, fellow Formula 1 driver Liam Lawson has shared his take on the duo’s relationship. In a recent interview, the Racing Bulls star opened up about the much-discussed dynamics between his F1 rival and The Kardashians star, remarking that their relationship could end up greatly benefiting the sport.

During his recent appearance on the Gypsy Tales podcast, Liam Lawson kicked off proceedings by addressing Lewis Hamilton’s alleged connection with Kim Kardashian.
The New Zealand racer admitted he did not know whether the dating rumors were “legit.” Nevertheless, he noted that the high-profile nature of the relationship could do wonders for Formula 1. “It’s great for the sport to be fair,” he stated, adding, “The sport has grown so much in the last few years. I don’t know how it can be bad for the sport.”
Although Lawson pledged his support to Hamilton and Kardashian, he also noted that modern media can be unreliable. “It is [crazy], but again, if it’s legit, that’s great, I’m stoked for them. But so many things come out that are not true. 90 per cent of what you read, maybe even more [isn’t true],” the 24-year-old racer exclaimed.
Lawson then likened rumors linking Lewis Hamilton to Kim Kardashian to old media stories that romantically linked Taylor Swift to F1 legend Fernando Alonso. “That got so much traction, to the point where commentators are like putting one-liners into [the commentary].”
Notably, paparazzi have spotted Lewis Hamilton and Kim Kardashian on multiple outings in recent times, with the pair attending the 2026 Super Bowl alongside each other. Sources close to the duo have also claimed that Kardashian has already introduced her children to her new boyfriend.
Despite his earlier reservations, Liam Lawson ended his account on the Hamilton-Kardashian rumors by saying, “This seems pretty real now because I saw it yesterday, and it was rumors, but this seems like it’s legit now.”
