Kim Kardashian is reportedly dating Lewis Hamilton, but before that, her single life worried her mother, Kris Jenner. After her divorce from Kanye West in 2022, the entrepreneur has been balancing raising their four children with growing her SKIMS business and continuing her law studies.
While Kardashian has been linked in the past to Pete Davidson and Odell Beckham Jr., OK! Magazine exclusively reported that insiders felt her dating life stalled under public scrutiny and the emotional weight that followed her marriage. One insider told the outlet, “From Kris’ perspective, it made no sense at all that Kim was still single.”
The insider added, “She looks at her as one of the most famous and glamorous women on the planet, so seeing her on her own for so long felt like a warning sign.” They continued, “Kris worried it sent the message that Kim was stuck in the past or had somehow lost her edge, and that idea genuinely frightened her because she felt it reflected badly not just on Kim, but on the whole family image.”
Additionally, a source described Jenner as going into “full fixer mode,” adding, “Kris approached the situation of Kim being single as if it were a crisis that required immediate action.” In that, the matriarch “was very blunt with Kim, telling her that if she continued on the same path, she risked staying single indefinitely.” Moreover, in Jenner’s eyes, ”that was simply not an option she was willing to accept.”
Now, that push from Jenner has reportedly been coherent with Kardashian’s growing closeness to Hamilton.
