Sarah Jessica Parker, best known for her role in Sex and the City, called out the President of the United States, Donald Trump. This was after a recent development saw him pass an order to the National Park Service. It was to remove the Pride flag from the Stonewall National Monument. The monument is dedicated to LGBTQ+ history.

Parker posted a video in collaboration with Bravo producer and Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen, where she questioned the decision.

The video features Christopher Park, the site of the Stonewall National Monument, and three Pride flags in view (via OUT). In it, Parker asks, “Question: You think if you remove our flag, we’re going to not care, or remember, or continue to advocate, or forget? I’m just curious.”

She continues narrating the video, saying, “Yeah, we want our flag back. But just because you take it away doesn’t mean you take away the history, or the community, or everybody that stands shoulder to shoulder.”

The post received immense engagement. It happened within hours of being posted on Instagram. However, many likes and comments were supporting Parker’s claim.

Moreover, several big names have supported the video, too. They include Kristin Davis, Jeff Hiller, Pelayo Díaz Zapico, Trace Lehnhoff, Justin Anderson, Zack Wickham, and The Property Lovers. Moreover, Human Rights Campaign, NYC Pride, and The Queer Review have also reacted to the post.

Many other celebrities and social media personalities have also expressed their outrage at the move, which continues to be divisive.
