Travis Kelce jokingly admitted that he has gained weight thanks to his fiancée, Taylor Swift, and her passion for homemade sourdough in a new episode of Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce. Swift’s enthusiasm for sourdough has become something of a calling card among her inner circle.

Introducing himself with a grin, the NFLS star quipped, “Hi, I’m Travis Kelce, Kylie Kelce’s brother-in-law,” before adding, “I’m not gonna lie—I broke Taylor’s chair with the weight I gained from her sourdough.” Despite the broken chair, Travis had nothing but praise for Taylor Swift’s baking skills, joking that her sourdough promotes “good gut health.” Host Kylie laughed along and summed it up: “That’s true love.”
The 14-time Grammy winner recently gifted homemade loaves to friends, including Este Haim, Danielle Haim, and Alana Haim, as well as artist Sombr, earlier this year. Her love of baking also came up during her appearance on New Heights in August 2025, when she joined Travis and his brother Jason Kelce for a candid chat about life at home.
On the podcast, Taylor Swift playfully described her interests as old-fashioned. “All my hobbies could be categorized as hobbies you could’ve had in the 1700s,” she joked, calling them her “granny” pursuits. Swift went on to admit that she cycles through baking fixations every few months. “I have a different baking obsession every six months,” she said—prompting Kelce to say, “I am the luckiest man in the world.”
The 36-year-old later revealed just how deep the current phase runs. “We’re very deep in a sourdough obsession that has taken over my life,” she said. While Swift appears to be in charge of the bread, Travis insists he has the beverages covered. Speaking to TMZ outside a Super Bowl party for New Heights on February 4, he joked that their upcoming wedding will feature plenty of beer from Garage Beer, which he co-owns with Jason.
