Travis Kelce’s Super Bowl party had Taylor Swift surprise
Travis Kelce had a sweet way of including fiancée Taylor Swift at the New Heights Super Bowl party. New Heights’ official Instagram account shared a glimpse of the celebratory night in its Stories. Fans spotted a framed photo of her performing at 2017’s DIRECTV NOW Super Saturday Night Concert at the venue (via Elle).
Notably, Swift has been absent from any public appearances this week. However, she is letting fans know in her own unique way that she is proud of her fiancé, Kelce. The Chiefs’ tight end played some incredible golf and sparked a wholesome Swift song joke as well.
The 36-year-old NFL star participated in the WM Phoenix Open pro-am. The Golf Channel shared a video of Kelce playing the sport on Wednesday. The Chiefs’ tight end surprised everyone with his impeccable golfing skills, prompting Golf Channel’s Eamon Lynch to remark, “I think Taylor Swift is going to write a song about that one.”
Eagle-eyed Swifties were quick to point out that the “Daylight” crooner liked the Instagram post in a rare social media move for the star. The couple was last photographed together in Beverly Hills on January 12.
It is unclear whether the pop star will watch the Super Bowl this Sunday. Swift previously revealed on the New Heights podcast that Kelce has converted her into a football fan. She said, “I fell in love with it [football]. I became obsessed with it.”
Swift is busy with her work commitments and is set to debut the music video for her song “Opalite.” It is the third track on her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. Swift will showcase the visual on Apple Music and Spotify Premium on Friday, February 6, at 8 a.m. ET. Post February 8, the “Opalite” music video will be available for fans to stream on YouTube (via Variety).
