Deleted Agatha All Along Post-Credits Scene With Lady Dath Revealed

A new report has shed light on a deleted post-credits scene from Agatha All Along involving Aubrey Plaza’s Lady Death. The rumored scene offers insight into a scrapped ending tag that was ultimately not included in the Marvel series.

Aubrey Plaza’s deleted post-credits scene in Agatha All Along possibly revealed

Scooper @MyTimeToShineHello revealed Aubrey Plaza’s deleted post-credits scene from Agatha All Along on X. According to the post, “The second post-credits scene they decided not to use for Agatha All Along showed Rio/Lady Death following Ghost Agatha and Billy into the portal at the end.”

Showrunner Jac Schaeffer previously confirmed she had written several end-credit scenes for the show. “I wrote a number of post-credit scenes, as I’ve done on every Marvel project I’ve ever worked on, because it’s the thing that changes the most and goes the longest as a question mark until you’re finally confronted with it,” she told Entertainment Weekly. “Ultimately, it was a Marvel decision not to have a tag on this show.”

Another unused scene reportedly followed Jennifer Kale as she searched for the doctor she initially believed had taken her powers. Marvel considered this scene alongside several other stingers before ultimately removing them from the final cut of the series.

Agatha All Along ended its two-episode finale without including any post-credits scenes, breaking from Marvel Studios’ usual format. Disney+ now streams all episodes of the series. The show features Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, who breaks free from a spell cast on her by a mysterious goth Teen and sets out on the Witches’ Road. Along the way, she assembles a coven and faces magical trials in an effort to recover what she has lost.

Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, and Aubrey Plaza appear alongside Hahn. Kevin Feige and Jac Schaeffer serve as executive producers, with Schaeffer also directing the pilot episode.

Disney submitted the series in comedy categories for the Golden Globes, SAG Awards, and the Emmys. Although promoted as a limited series, the storylines of Agatha and Wiccan will continue in the upcoming Vision series, which forms the final part of a trilogy that began with WandaVision.
