This has reportedly not gone down well with Ackerley’s friends, who are worried about the married couple’s dynamics.

Tom Ackerley’s friends have reportedly warned him that Jacob Elordi could be a “threat” to his marriage with Margot Robbie. Ahead of the film’s release, Robbie gifted Elordi a custom matching signet ring. The ring was inscribed with a quote from the Emily Brontë novel: “Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same” (via Star).
The “Babylon” star had previously praised Elordi in an interview with Access Hollywood. She called him a “gentleman” when he stepped in to shield her face from the rain in an unscripted moment mid-scene. Robbie dished, “That was one of the most romantic things I’ve ever experienced and seen.”
However, a source revealed to Star that Robbie’s gushing over Elordi is worrying those close to the married couple. The source revealed, “The way Margot has been carrying on with Jacob has everyone wondering what the heck is going on with her and Tom. The poor guy has to just stand back and watch her all over the hottest guy in the industry right now. It’s got to be humiliating for him.”
As per Star, Ackerley, who is also Robbie’s producing partner, isn’t worried. However, his friends insist he may be in denial about the situation.
