Amid growing tensions within the family, Brooklyn Beckham has reportedly covered up his “Dad” tattoo in honor of his father, David Beckham. New photos have captured the modified body art on the media personality’s arm during his recent outing with wife Nicola Peltz.
Brooklyn Beckham hides his dad’s tattoo
Brooklyn Beckham has reportedly covered one of his tattoos that was dedicated to his father, David Beckham, amid the ongoing family feud. Photos obtained by The Sun recently show the ink hidden under a new design. The tattoo originally featured the word “Dad” centered on an anchor, along with a rose.
The photos show Brooklyn out and about in the city with his wife, Nicola Peltz. The aspiring chef wore a white T-shirt featuring the Ford logo, which offered a peek at the modified tattoo on his right arm.
According to a source close to the 26-year-old, “Brooklyn’s had laser treatment on the writing. He wanted it gone.” They added, “There is so much hurt and pain on his side, it would not be genuine to keep such a tribute on his body.”
Brooklyn reportedly kept the “Love you Bust,” a reference to the nickname “Buster” that his father gave him. However, the ink appears to have faded. Meanwhile, David Beckham has a tattoo of “Bust” on his neck, which fans have often noticed in his photos.
Additionally, the former photographer has also covered up a tattoo on his chest, dedicated to his mother, Victoria Beckham. Another insider told The Sun, “To see Brooklyn covering up Victoria’s tattoo, and now the one he had for his dad, will sting.” They added, “It seems very cruel and will add salt to the wounds.”
The report comes shortly after Brooklyn Beckham’s explosive Instagram statement about his parents. In a series of Instagram stories on January 19, he declared, “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
