A source has claimed that Brooklyn Beckham‘s dance with his mother, Victoria Beckham, at his 2022 wedding was “deeply uncomfortable.” Earlier this week, the 26-year-old English model took to his Instagram Stories to openly criticise his mother for allegedly “hijacking” his first dance with his wife, Nicola Peltz.

Brooklyn Beckham tied the knot with Nicola Peltz at the Peltz family’s Palm Beach estate in April 2022. Four years on, the couple’s wedding ceremony is still in the spotlight because of the claims Beckham has made about his mother’s “inappropriate” behaviour during a dance with him. A source shared new details about the dance to Us Weekly, per a January 22 report.
The source told the outlet, “The dance was deeply uncomfortable, and people did notice at the wedding. Victoria nuzzled on Brooklyn’s neck in front of everyone and he made a face. He was in shock and upset. It was inappropriate and weird.” Another source had alleged that Victoria had “nuzzled into” Brooklyn’s neck while speaking to Page Six.
On January 19, Brooklyn recounted the memories of his dance with his mother in his Instagram Stories. He stated that despite a dance being scheduled with his wife, Marc Anthony called him on stage for his first dance with his wife, but Victoria was already on stage for that dance. Further, he claimed that she danced very “inappropriately on him,” which had made him feel “more uncomfortable or humiliated” than ever in his entire life.
Sources have also said that Brooklyn is so embarrassed that he won’t release the dance video, although he has access to it. Meanwhile, another source noted to Us Weekly that there were hundreds of guests at the wedding, and no one was “gossiping” about the dance or surprised at the mother-son moment. They also claimed that Victoria just seemed to be having fun. Neither David nor Victoria Beckham nor any of their other children has publicly addressed the debacle yet.
