Kim Kardashian reacts to AI dating rumor with NBA player Luca Doncic
Kim Kardashian left her fans gobsmacked when she apparently showed her interest in meeting Lakers superstar player Luca Doncic. The reality TV star went viral after apparently leaving a comment on the Lakers’ Instagram account saying, “I want to learn how to speak Slovenian,” along with the lip-biting emoji. To which the NBA player replied, “No, please don’t.” However, according to reports, she quickly deleted it, but it certainly sparked some widespread speculation and intrigue among her fans.
But now the SKIMS founder has cleared the air and talked about the whole saga on a podcast with her sister, Khloe Kardashian. On a January 21 episode of the “Khloé In Wonder Land” podcast, when the host asked about some of the “AI dating rumors,” the mom of four instantly called out the rumors “insane.”
She then goes on to narrate the “most craziest” rumor that people “thought was real,” leaving Khloe curious.
Kim explained, “There is a basketball player that I think got traded to the Lakers, Luca. There was like a fake tweet or comment on Instagram. I don’t know where it came from, but it was like, “Hi, you’re coming to LA. I want to learn Slovakian or whatever language.””
Kim then revealed that Luca had even replied to the message, thinking it was from her. However, the actress admitted she is still not certain whether the reply was “fake” or real. But her words were “so fake. And it looks like I’m hitting on this guy,” admitting she “hasn’t gone to a Laker game since.”
Hearing her story, even Khole shared a similar one, leaving Kim to say again, “AI is insane.” She even revealed that there was an “AI photo” of her and Kevin Durant, where she was quoted as saying that she would “date” this basketball player if ever she got a chance.
But Kim denied the statement, saying it’s “absolutely just not true and I never said that,” leaving her wondering, “who comes up with these fake quotes? How do you stop them?”
