Alan Ritchson might be seen on screens as the popular character Jack Reacher twice in 2026. This can happen because the Frances Neagley spinoff and Season 4 of the Reacher series could both be arriving this year.
The spinoff surrounding the character of Frances Neagley, played by Maria Sten, got greenlit at Amazon in October 2024. Sten announced in June 2025 on Instagram that the Neagley spinoff has wrapped filming and stated, “That’s a wrap on #Neagley season 1! this story is so so special, folks. I cannot wait for you all to see what we’ve cooked up! I hope you’re ready cause it’s gonna be a wild one!” So, there is a chance that the spinoff might get released this year.
Season 4 of Reacher was also announced in October 2024, and filming started in June 2025. In another Instagram post, a production crew member from the Reacher series conveyed in November, “Looks like Reacher season 4 has officially wrapped! It’s been a Long run. Great work to all the cast and crew. Thank you so much Alan. Looking forward to Reacher season 4 based on Lee Child’s 13th Jack Reacher book Gone Tomorrow.” This means the season could arrive in late 2026 or early 2027.
Moreover, the main series can also follow the usual release pattern of Season 3, which was released a year after Season 2 ended. Season 3 of Reacher came out in February 2025.
Based on this, Ritchson may be playing Reacher in two series. However, whether Sten’s Neagley will appear in the main show is not yet confirmed.
