Fans of the New Heights podcast are aware of Jason Kelce’s sharp and often wicked sense of humor. However, it seems like Kelce may have taken his sense of humor a little too far. The Eagles alum made an NSFW joke during ESPN’s pregame coverage of an NFL playoff game between the Houston Texans and New England Patriots on Sunday, January 18.

Jason Kelce takes everyone by surprise with an NSFW joke at the Texans-Patriots game. During a pregame segment on ESPN ahead of the Texans-Patriots playoff game, Kelce asked game commentator Troy Aikman how extremely cold “playoff weather” affects quarterbacks’ playing style.
Kelce replied, “Troy, the flurries have started, playoff weather is here. We got hats on, jackets on, n***les out.” Fellow ESPN commentators burst out laughing upon hearing Kelce’s witty NSFW remark (via Daily Express U.S.).
Furthermore, Kelce commented, “Weather is going to affect this one: it’s going to affect the game tonight. What are you doing as a quarterback to make sure you’re prepared?” Aikman, however, did not indulge in Kelce’s joke. Instead, he answered the Eagles alum’s question sincerely by explaining how a quarterback should keep their hands warm when the temperatures drop, so as not to affect the game.
Interestingly, Kelce is no stranger to taking off his own shirt to celebrate a euphoric, match-winning moment. Notably, he was cheering for his brother, Travis Kelce, during a Kansas City Chiefs versus Buffalo Bills playoff game two seasons ago.
At the time, the Eagles alum shared on the New Heights podcast, “I wanted to take everything off and be out there with the fans.” Hilariously, in the same podcast, Kelce revealed that he had discussed his plan to go shirtless during the game with Kylie, who was vehemently against it (via PEOPLE).
Kelce quipped, “I’m not going to lie, I gave Kylie a heads-up. The moment we get into the suite, I said, ‘I’m taking my shirt off and jumping out of that suite.’ And she said, ‘Jason, don’t you dare.’”
