Brooklyn Beckham Has No Plans to ‘Reconcile’ With His Family

Brooklyn Beckham has addressed ongoing speculation about his relationship with his family, confirming he has “no plans to reconcile.” In a series of Instagram posts, he spoke out for the first time about the reported rift, outlining his reasons for breaking his silence.

Brooklyn Beckham finally breaks silence over family drama

Brooklyn Peltz Beckham has publicly addressed speculation about a family rift in a series of Instagram posts to his 16 million followers, stating, “I do not want to reconcile with my family.” He accused his parents, Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham, of “attacking” him and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, through the media. He claimed they placed “lies” in the press to “preserve their own facade.” Brooklyn said he had stayed silent for years but was left with “no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth.”

The 26-year-old said his wife had been “consistently disrespected” by his family. He accused his mother of cancelling Nicola’s wedding dress “in the eleventh hour,” forcing them to urgently find a replacement. He also claimed Lady Beckham “hijacked” the couple’s first dance. “My mum was waiting to dance with me” and “danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone,” he wrote.

Brooklyn claimed his parents pressured and bribed him to sign away the rights to his name before the wedding. He said the situation affected the “payday,” and they “never treated me the same” afterward. He and Nicola renewed their vows in 2025 to create new memories “that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.”

Beckham said he and Nicola traveled to London for Sir David’s 50th birthday but faced rejection for a week. He claimed his father agreed to meet only if Nicola stayed away, which he described as a “slap in the face.” He accused his mother of inviting women from his past into their lives. Beckham also said his younger brothers attacked him on social media before ultimately blocking him. “They woke up blocked as I did,” he wrote. “Brand Beckham comes first,” he added, claiming that family “love” depends on social media activity.
