Sarah Ferguson Using Sussexes’ Strategy To ‘Go Rogue’ on Royals — Source

Sarah Ferguson is reportedly eyeing a royal-style reset that could get very loud. A source claimed she has “closely analyzed the path Harry and Meghan took” before going public. Now, the former Duchess of York is said to be weighing her own version of that playbook.

The idea, per the report, is a new chapter with cameras, contracts, and a memoir deal. And while the Sussexes already proved the model can pay off, this time the spotlight could swing back toward Windsor.

Sarah Ferguson ‘has closely analyzed the path’ Sussexes took with their tell-all, per source

According to an OKMagazine.com report dated January 16, 2026, Sarah Ferguson has been mapping out a three-step media plan. The outlet claimed she wants a televised sit-down first. Then, she would explore streaming projects. After that, she would move into a book release.

A source told the outlet, “Sarah has closely analyzed the path Harry and Meghan took.” They added, “She views it as a successful formula for both retaliation and financial stability.” In the same quote, the insider warned, “She is following that three-pronged strategy with real intent.” Meanwhile, the report claimed she has already met with publishers behind the scenes. One insider described “multiple exploratory meetings” with “very interested” book teams. However, the first pitch was framed as a softer project. It was described as a “life lessons-style” book concept.

Still, the source suggested that it was only the opening move. “She is preparing to go totally rogue on the royals,” the insider claimed. They also added, “It could be an absolute disaster for The Firm.” The Sarah Ferguson “tell-all” talk stands out because she has done memoirs before. She released “My Story” in 1996. Later, she put out “Finding Sarah” in 2011. She also wrote “What I Know Now: Simple Lessons Learned the Hard Way.”

In contrast, the outlet claimed that Former Prince Andrew is not interested in copying that strategy. A source said, “Andrew has no intention of producing a tell-all memoir.” They also claimed he will not “indulge in another TV interview.” For now, Sarah Ferguson Sussex’s comparisons are likely to follow her. If she moves ahead, the rollout may look familiar.
