Piers Morgan suffered a bone fracture and has been hospitalized. The controversial broadcaster recently shared an update on the recovery process along with a selfie from the hospital bed.

Piers Morgan has been hospitalized with a broken bone after an accident. The British broadcaster recently shared a selfie from a hospital bed on Instagram on Sunday, January 18. In the captions, Morgan revealed how the injury occurred and what the doctors have said.
Morgan penned, “1. Tripped on a small step. 2. Inside a London hotel restaurant. 3. Fell like a sack of spuds. 4. Fractured neck of femur. 5. So badly I needed a new hip.”
He continued, “6. Recovering in hospital. 7. Crutches for 6 weeks. 8. No long-haul flying for 12 weeks. 9. New Year off to a cracking start! 10. I blame Donald Trump.”
The selfie shows Morgan in a hospital gown, connected to an IV and oxygen. He is giving a thumbs up while capturing the photo with his phone on the other hand. In addition to the selfie, Morgan also shared a snapshot of the X-Ray image that shows the broken bone. He drew a red circle to show the exact point of the fracture.
Morgan’s injury comes just days after his recent clash with Pink Floyd frontman Roger Waters. During the Friday, January 16 episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored, the broadcaster slammed Waters for “trying to prop up terrorists and powerful dictatorships.” Meanwhile, the musician called Donald Trump “demented” and said that he is “obviously very evil.”
Additionally, Waters stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin “really has tried not to hurt civilians” during the invasion of Ukraine. He also said that ex-Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro is a “duly democratically elected leader of a country that represents all the principles of Bolivarian and Chávez revolutionary process,” amid reports of his election being fraudulent.
