ASAP Rocky Takes Dig at Drake on New Album ‘Don’t Be Dumb’

A$AP Rocky seemingly takes a jab at Drake on his new album, Don’t Be Dumb. He finally released the album after countless obstacles. He raps, “First you stole my flow, so I stole yo’ b***h,” seemingly hinting at his long-standing feud with Drake over Rihanna and the fact that the Canadian rapper allegedly copied his style.

ASAP Rocky seemingly takes a dig at Drake over Rihanna and their long-standing issues on Don’t Be Dumb. Continuing further, he mentions “clones”. He raps, “N****s getting BBLs, lucky we don’t body shame / Throwing dirt on Rocky name, turn around and copy game” (via Complex).

These lines refer to Drake versus Kendrick Lamar’s famous 2024 beef. It includes mentions of Metro Boomin’s viral “BBL Drizzy”. Not only that, but it also includes Kendrick Lamar calling out Drake’s alleged cosmetic surgery on his 2024 diss track “Euphoria.”

Rocky seemingly confirmed that he targeted these lines towards the Canadian rapper during the January 15 episode of Jon Caramanica and Joe Coscarelli’s podcast, Popcast. Rocky simply stated, “I think we all know.”

Furthermore, he briefly explained the need to take jabs at his former rapper friend. Rocky shared, “I just started seeing people who started out as friends and then became foes. It seemed like they were unhappy for you and, you know, started sending shots. And I think that is what led to any of our misunderstandings, or whatever the case is.”

It appears that the 37-year-old rapper is referring to Drake’s song “Fear of Heights” from his 2023 album For all the Dogs. Fans are convinced the Canadian rapper took a sly dig at Rihanna because he used the word “anti” in the first few lines of the song. Notably, the Barbadian singer named her eighth studio album, Anti, as well.

Not only that, but Drake also dissed Rihanna’s partner, Rocky, later in the song. At the time, fans believed that the Canadian rapper was still sour over his broken relationship with the “Diamonds” singer.

However, later in the interview, Rocky seemed to have changed his mind and refused to confirm if he took shots at Drake on his new album. The 37-year-old shrugged it off by saying, “It’s whoever feel like it’s about them.”
