L.A. Olympic 2028 Seats Are Harder To Get Than Taylor Swift Tickets

Bagging a ticket for the 2028 LA Olympics might turn out to be harder than getting Taylor Swift tickets. There was a worldwide rush to secure tickets for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, causing the website to crash due to overwhelming demand. Fans planning to register for the Ticket Draw are likely to face long wait times and glitches, considering the escalating ticket craze.

Fans are frustrated with L.A. Olympics tickts website

The LA Olympics ticket website for 2028 is experiencing a meltdown. Excitement turned into frustration with fans facing endless queues and glitches, as well as long wait times. The site crashed due to overwhelming demand after registration opened on January 14, 2026, with tickets starting at $28.

The website started the ticketing process by flashing a message on January 14. “Your journey to LA28 starts here. Register for the LA28 Ticket Draw by March 18 for the opportunity to purchase tickets during Drop 1 or the LA & OKC Locals Presale”, it read.

Meanwhile, the Olympics wrote on X, “Game on! Registration for the LA28 Ticket Draw* is open from January 14 to March 18, 2026. We’re here to take you through the process step-by-step to ensure you get across the finish line of registering for the draw.”

The 2028 LA Olympics website says that tickets will be sold in multiple drops. Those lucky enough to win the lottery will score a time slot to buy tickets during the presale or drop. The site crash, however, has dimmed fans’ hope, who turned to social media to complain about the inconvenience.

“Tried to register for LA Olympics tickets. When I got through the first waiting room, it took me to a homepage. When I clicked register it started the waiting room again. It happened on phone and laptop. Not cool@LA28“, one tweet read. “The LA Olympics ticket draw is gonna be worse than getting Taylor Swift tickets isn’t it”, joked another X user.

The Olympics responded by urging people to exhibit patience. “Thanks for your patience, we’ve looked into the matter. It is not a mistake if you’re being redirected to another queue. Your place in line will be maintained, and you will be able to register shortly”, the X post read.
