OnlyFans’ Sophie Rain Continues To Battle 50% ‘Sin Tax’ Proposal

OnlyFans star Sophie Rain engaged in a verbal war on X with Florida Gov. candidate James Fishback after the latter announced his plans to impose a 50% tax on OnlyFans creators, and it seems that the battle is not ending anytime soon. After the pair went back and forth over Fishback’s proposal of taxing OnlyFans creators. There, Rain accused him of having “buyer’s regret,” and the pair had another round of exchanges.

Sophie Rain and James Fishback, who proposed the controversial prospect of heavily taxing OnlyFans creators, already had an exchange a day ago. There, Fishback specifically called Rain out. Rain responded with the claim that he may be a subscriber.

Following this, Rain posted a video on X. She captioned it, “Targeting a group of individuals using their job to survive when there are multibillion-dollar corrupt businesses that don’t pay any taxes is insane.” Rain explained Fishback’s proposal in the video and insinuated how unfair it was to the small creators. Fishback commented on this video, “Sophie, pay up. It’s time to give our public school teachers a raise.” Rain further responded to this, saying, “And their salaries could easily be tripled by taxing big businesses correctly.”

The verbal war between them continued elsewhere. Rain posted a statistic that claimed at least 55 of the largest corporations in America paid no federal taxes. She wrote in the caption, “I pay my 37% income tax proudly, and I would be glad to pay more if big businesses weren’t paying $0 in taxes.” Fishback commented on this too, saying, “Sophie, I won’t allow smart, capable women to be forced to sell their bodies online to get by. For generations, women aspired to be lawyers, doctors, or devoted mothers. I’m running for Florida Governor because I want to see every single woman in Florida succeed.”

Sophie Rain shared another statistic that claimed the USA was increasingly issuing visas to OnlyFans creators. Rain wrote in this, “Work visas are being issued for OF models, meanwhile a Florida candidate is looking to tax us 50% on top of the federal tax we pay at the same time… sounds ironic to me.”

Fishback responded to this post with a threat. He commented, “Keep running your mouth. It’s about to be 100%.” This comment received backlash from users.

Anyhow, the war of words goes on between the two personalities from very different walks of life.
