Logan Paul & Drake Went Head-To-Head in Bidding War Over $93K Painting

The identity of the mystery buyer behind one of the most expensive Bob Ross paintings ever sold has finally been revealed, along with the person who lost. On the January 13 episode of the “imPAULSIVE” podcast, Logan Paul shared that he and Drake were the primary combatants in a high-stakes bidding war over a rare piece by the beloved internet artist.

The painting in question, which was sold under the Goldin banner in late 2024, fetched a staggering $93,000 (nearly $94,000 after fees). While the buyer remained a secret for months, Drake eventually identified himself as the winner in May 2025. During a conversation with Ken Goldin, CEO of Goldin, Logal Paul admitted he was the one driving up the price.

“He outbid me on a Bob Ross,” Paul told Goldin during the episode. The professional wrestler confessed that he was “a little tipsy” during a dinner when he decided to start bidding. “I’m bidding on this Bob Ross, and someone outbid me. It was well above the estimate. I’m like, who the f*ck could this be?”

Goldin, who was aware of both identities at the time but legally bound to secrecy, admitted he was “dying” behind the scenes watching the two superstars compete.

The discussion also touched on Paul’s other high-profile collectibles. The 30-year-old revealed that he finally agreed to sell his $5.3 million Pikachu Illustrator card with Goldin after spending “an irresponsible amount of money” on his wedding.

While Drake emerged victorious in the Ross auction, Goldin noted that the “6 God” doesn’t always win; his manager previously failed to secure a handwritten 2Pac letter, though the rapper-singer later secured a different piece of Tupac memorabilia. As of 2026, Goldin remains Drake’s “favorite place” for high-end collectibles.
