Dwayne Johnson, who has recently shifted his focus to more character-oriented roles, posted a video on his official Instagram account that chronicles a 1990s casting call. In the video, the WWE legend can be seen standing in front of a plain wall. He answers what his name is and where he is from. He is also asked if he can do any accents, but he ends up laughing.

Johnson is then asked, “Are you comfortable with nudity?” He responds, “Front or back?” “Front,” the interviewer says. “Sure, how about sideways?” The actor responds to the question. “Short answer is yes,” he further adds to this, affirming that he did not have a problem with nude scenes.

The Rock posted the clip with the caption, “Casting call for the kid. circa 1990’s.” There were many reactions to this post, with fans joking about the casting call and how big the actor eventually became. “I don’t quite think he’ll make it in Hollywood lol,” one user wrote sarcastically. Another user joked, “Too muscular, bald, samoan w no hair. Not going to draw a dime. Could be an enhancement talent for WWF. Anybody knows his @?”

After a string of big-budget hits, Dwayne Johnson is now looking to get into more serious roles. He recently starred in Bennie Safdie’s The Smashing Machine. Johnson’s performance as Mark Kerr drew immense critical acclaim, proving that he has what it takes to take on challenging roles.

He will next be seen in the live-action remake of Moana.
