In an exclusive report from Us Weekly, a source claimed that Prince Harry prefers to stay out of the spotlight that Hollywood brings on him and Meghan Markle. He likes a quiet daily life in Montecito, even if he has adapted to many parts of it. The insider claimed, “Harry is so happy living in the private world,” adding that he “was never comfortable in that environment” when he lived as a working royal.
At the same time, the spotlight that follows their business still weighs on him. Royal author Christopher Andersen told Us that Harry remains “somewhat uneasy with it,” explaining that “he has suffered from crippling social anxiety.” Meanwhile, Andersen claimed, “Meghan embraces that life more.”
According to the report, that difference is a part of a bigger issue for Harry: he still feels pulled between his royal roots and his new life in California, with Royal historian Marlene Koenig also pointing to how different his day-to-day routine looks now compared to his former royal schedule. Koenig explained, “Although Harry hasn’t settled into a permanent position, he’s spending time with his young children and being a hands-on dad. Meghan is the breadwinner.”
