Although it’s been over a year, the “House of Style” supermodel has allegedly taken the split “personally.” A source told RadarOnline, “What is most annoying to Cindy is that Austin’s plan worked, and he’s really made a name for himself!”
According to the insider, Crawford believed that Butler was able to set his footing in Hollywood through Gerber’s connections. She allegedly felt that the 34-year-old “was using Kaia to bolster his own Hollywood connections.” At the time, the 24-year-old actress’ family accepted her relationship with Butler with open arms because Gerber “wanted a real future with him.”
