Irwin announced this in an Instagram video, where he also spoke about the upcoming season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, which he is going to host next.
Robert Irwin set to host I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here Season 12
Robert Irwin, following hot on the heels of his Dancing with the Stars win, is taking on a new role in the Australian reality TV show, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here. Irwin is slated to host the 12th season of the show.
“Welcome back to South Africa,” he teased in a new Instagram video posted from his official account, “We have a brilliant new season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here coming to you, Australia, on January 18.”
The young television personality further explained about his upcoming show, “It’s going to be the most intense season we’ve ever had.” He added, “The most challenging, the most emotional. And our celebrities, holy moly, they’re gonna get a run for their money.”
He further wrote in the caption of the post, “Our new season of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here starts on January 18!! Best season yet, don’t miss it. I will see you on Channel 10, Australia! Woohoo.”
Many fans commented on the post and expressed their excitement for the upcoming series.
Before his stint on Dancing with the Stars, Robert Irwin starred in and co-produced the Animal Planet television series Crikey! It’s the Irwins with their mother and older sister. For his work on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, Irwin earned a Logie Award nomination for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television.
