Ben Affleck’s ex-wives Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner both attended the 2026 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 11. However, despite appearing at the same high-profile event, the two actresses were not photographed together.
While Affleck was notably absent from the awards show, both Lopez and Garner posed individually for photographers and did not interact publicly during the evening. According to the Daily Mail report, the decision was intentional. Insiders reported that Lopez and Garner maintain a cordial and cooperative relationship. However, they deliberately chose not to pose together to avoid unnecessary speculation.
One source said, “They get along, they are cool with each other, there are no issues. They don’t want to drum up headlines by posing together at an awards show, that would be awkward. They don’t want to create a fuss because it would be hard for the kids.”
Another source added that Lopez and Garner do not require public appearances to stay connected. “I am pretty sure they see each other like once a week because of the kids, and they talk on the phone. They are co-parenting in a way, even though Lopez divorced Ben,” the insider explained.
Sources also noted that both women focus on maintaining a calm and stable environment for their children. “They are like one big modern family, which is nice,” an insider said, adding that everyone involved “understands the importance of getting along for the sake of the kids.”
Garner shares three children with Affleck: Violet, 20, Fin, 17, and Samuel, 13. Meanwhile, Lopez is the mother of 17-year-old twins, Max and Emme, from her marriage to Marc Anthony.
