Fans react to IShowSpeed drinking cow blood on stream

IShowSpeed drinks cow blood on his recent Kenya stream. For those unversed, he is on a 28-day livestreaming tour across 20 countries, titled “Speed Does Africa.” His dedicated fanbase, IShowSpeedHQ, shared a video of him drinking Maasai cow blood mixed with milk on a livestream.

In the video, a local mixes Maasai cow blood with milk in a special container as the 20-year-old watches. He curiously remarks, “Chat, I’m about to try cow blood for the first time. What’s it taste like, though? Like Cinnamon Toast Crunch or something, like cereal?” The locals tried to pacify his nerves as a man takes a few sips of the traditional blood drink to set an example.

Speed takes the container and readies himself to drink cow blood as the locals cheer him on. “Chat, I just had blood, I’m going to become Maasai, right? This is protein, right? I will try,” the streamer yells, pumped to take on the challenge. Once he takes a big sip, he lets out a roar and immediately remarks, “It is salty.” After a brief pause, he asks the locals if he should “finish” it. He takes a few more sips and exclaims, “t deadass tastes like blood… Let’s go!”

Fans are in awe of Speed’s sense of adventure and sincerity in wholly embracing Kenya’s local traditions. Unsurprisingly, the post has garnered 1.8K likes, 308 retweets, 109 bookmarks, and 103 comments.

One fan commented, “ahh bro now a vampire.” A second fan wrote, “Okay nah… Speed is braver than I thought,” followed by multiple emojis. Meanwhile, a third fan penned, “Now that’s culture.” Finally, a fan chimed in, “That’s wild. Respect to Speed for actually trying it and experiencing the culture properly.”
